Office Coffee
One of the greatest things about working in an office is the office coffee machine. There truly is such thing as conversation around the office coffee machine (which is nearby the water cooler, coincidently) and one of the best things about an office coffee machine is that the office coffee is usually free! With an office coffee maker should be respected and if you are going to use the last of the office coffee, you should always start a fresh pot.
Office coffee machines for office use run the gamut and really depends on the size of the office in which the coffee machine is being used. If you are in a small office say under 10 people a smaller or 10 or 12 cup coffeemaker will probably suffice. Not everyone is going to be drinking from the office coffee machine for one and the varying needs of the workers in the office (some come in already juiced up from their morning quad espresso shot; some like coffee later in the day, etc) in a smaller setting will really dictate the size machine that you have.
If, though, you work in a much larger office, say 40 or more people on your floor, using the same common area, you may actually end up needing an industrial sized coffee machine that can brew fresh coffee all the time. Again this depends on the size of your office and it’s the responsibility of your coworkers. If there is someone who is responsible for maintaining the common area then that's another thing to take into consideration.
Some people in the office area even like to have their own coffee machine. If you work in an office, and have your own office area, with a desk and a door and the facilities to do so, you may wish to get your own coffee machines they can brew coffee at your leisure. It really all depends on the dynamics of the work area; how well you get along with your coworkers, how important the coffee machine is to the workday, where the location of the nearest café's are in relation to your office; all these stipulations and many others will dictate where your office coffee machine falls into your day.
Whether you are a heavy coffee drinker or just a one cup a day type of person, the office coffee machine can fall heavily into your daily routine. But you should remember to follow the rules of office etiquette when dealing with the office coffee machine as it's not just yours alone but belongs to the whole office.
